The Woodward 9907-205 Hand Held Programmer is a compact terminal designed for configuring and monitoring ProAct™ Digital Speed Control systems. It connects via RS-422 D-sub port and draws power directly from the control unit.

Upon connection, the terminal performs a self-test. Users can press the ID key to view the control’s part number and software revision—essential for support and diagnostics. The backlit LCD screen displays four lines, allowing simultaneous viewing of two menu items. Navigation is intuitive using arrow keys, and changes must be saved manually using the SAVE key to prevent data loss during power-down.
