The DI 3301S2 DI Input Module from Triconex delivers fault-tolerant signal acquisition for safety-critical applications. Built for Tricon Systems, this module uses three independent channels to validate field inputs with complete electrical isolation.
Each channel in the DI 3301S2 operates asynchronously and supports state transition detection. The module activates visual indicators and system alarms when faults occur, while maintaining operation through TMR voting logic.
The DI 3301S2 supports hot-spare configurations, allowing seamless module replacement without interrupting system performance. Its rugged design withstands harsh industrial conditions and prevents incorrect installation through mechanical keying.
Compatible with standard 2301 baseplates and hazardous location panels, the DI 3301S2 processes both low-voltage and high-voltage signals when paired with appropriate termination panels.
