The CM 3201 Communication Module from Triconex ensures reliable data exchange in safety-critical environments. Designed for Tricon Systems, this module connects Main Processors to external devices like host computers and network printers.
The CM 3201 supports both standalone and redundant configurations, allowing two modules on a single baseplate for uninterrupted communication. Its architecture enhances fault tolerance and system availability during maintenance or failure.
Each CM 3201 module includes three RS-232/RS-485 serial ports and two Ethernet interfaces. This flexible setup supports legacy Tricon v9–10 systems and modern Trident v2 platforms. Dual Ethernet ports enable open network communication while preserving system integrity.
