Description
Product Overview
The HIMA F8650X central module is a safety-rated CPU designed for PES H51q-MS, -HS, and -HRS systems, compliant with SIL 3 per IEC 61508. It features dual clock-synchronized microprocessors, each with independent memory—one handling real data, the other inverted—for fault detection and redundancy.
A hardware comparer monitors external access discrepancies. In case of failure, the watchdog triggers a safe state and reports processor status. The module includes Flash-EPROMs rated for over 100,000 write cycles, battery-backed sRAM, and diagnostic LEDs for system and I/O feedback.
