    The IS200TRLYH1B relay output terminal board is part of GE’s Mark VIe turbine control platform and is designed to provide high‑integrity relay outputs for safety‑critical turbine protection systems. It implements a triple‑modular‑redundant (TMR) relay architecture, ensuring that shutdown and protection commands are validated through a three‑channel voting mechanism before being sent to field devices.

    Functional Architecture

    The board contains three independent relay sections—R, S, and T—each equipped with twelve sealed relays. These relays are combined through a voting circuit to produce twelve final output channels. Depending on system configuration, the voted output can be Form A (normally open) or Form B (normally closed). This voting logic significantly reduces the risk of false trips and enhances operational reliability in turbine protection systems.

    The IS200TRLYH1B receives control signals from three separate I/O processors via connectors JR1, JS1, and JT1. Each processor powers its own relay coil group, ensuring electrical isolation between TMR channels and preventing cross‑channel interference.
