Product Overview
The IS230SNSCH2A Serial Communication Module from GE enables Modbus Master protocol over both serial and Ethernet media. It integrates the IS220PSCAH1B I/O pack and the IS200SSCAH2A terminal board, supporting simplex configurations only.
This module features six transceiver channels, each configurable for RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 half-duplex communication. Users can set termination schemes using jumpers on the SSCA terminal board. The PSCA I/O pack also supports Modbus TCP via one of two Ethernet ports, following the open Modbus/TCP specification for Class 1 devices.
Designed for industrial automation, the IS230SNSCH2A delivers reliable data exchange between gateway controllers and field devices.
