Signal Processing & Filtering
The IS220PTCCH1B uses six differential multiplexers and a main multiplexer to route analog signals. Each input passes through hardware and firmware filters before conversion. The module automatically removes out-of-range thermocouples to protect data integrity.
Cold Junction Compensation
When two I/O packs are installed, the system averages Cold Junction readings if both CJ devices fall within configured limits. This ensures accurate compensation across varying ambient conditions.
Application & Compatibility
This module supports grounded or ungrounded thermocouples and integrates with turbine I/O panels up to 300 meters away. It is ideal for industrial environments requiring robust temperature feedback and noise immunity.
