The IS220PSCAH1B Serial Communication I/O Pack from GE provides a robust interface between Ethernet networks and serial terminal boards. It supports RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 half-duplex standards across six configurable transceiver channels.
This I/O pack includes a BPPC processor board, compatible with ControlST V04.07 and later. Input is handled via dual RJ-45 Ethernet ports and a 3-pin power connector, while output connects through a DC-62 pin interface. Visual diagnostics are available through onboard LED indicators.
The IS220PSCAH1B supports Ethernet Modbus communication in simplex configurations and features soft-start power control to manage inrush current during activation.
