The IS220PPRFH1A PROFIBUS Master Gateway I/O Pack from GE’s Mark VIe Series enables seamless integration of PROFIBUS DP-V0 and DP-V1 slave devices into IONet-based control systems. It features a BPPB processor board and a COM-C communication module from Hilscher GmbH, offering high-speed RS-485 connectivity through a DE-9 D-sub connector.
This I/O pack supports transmission rates from 9.6 Kbps to 12 Mbps and handles up to 124 slave devices, each with up to 244 bytes of I/O data. LED indicators provide real-time diagnostics, and the pack mounts directly onto the SPIDG1A terminal board.

Features & Performance
The IS220PPRFH1A supports multiple redundancy configurations, including single Ethernet, dual Ethernet, and HotBackup modes. In HotBackup, two I/O packs operate in active-passive roles to ensure uninterrupted PROFIBUS communication.
The pack maps slave device I/O directly to Mark VIe controllers and supports ControlST software suite V04.04 and later. Its compact design and robust communication capabilities make it ideal for distributed industrial control systems.
