Description
Product Overview
The IS200VTURH2B Primary Turbine Protection Board from GE’s Mark VI Series delivers high-integrity protection and monitoring for gas turbine systems. It measures turbine speed using four passive pulse rate devices and relays overspeed trip signals to the controller and terminal boards.
This board also manages generator synchronizing, monitors shaft voltage and current, and supports flame detection using up to eight Geiger-Mueller® sensors. It interfaces with TRPG and TRPx boards to control emergency trip solenoids and breaker coil operations.

Features & Performance
The IS200VTURH2B board supports both simplex and TMR configurations. It receives trip signals from the controller and activates electrical trip devices (ETDs) through magnetic relays. The board ensures precise turbine speed measurement and synchronizing logic for safe generator operation.
Its flame detection capability enhances safety in gas turbine applications, while shaft voltage monitoring helps prevent electrical damage. The board integrates seamlessly with excitation systems and controller logic.
