Description
Product Overview
The IS200VAICH1D from GE is a high-performance analog input/output board designed for Mark VI control systems. It processes 20 analog inputs and drives 4 analog outputs through two terminal boards, each supporting 10 inputs and 2 outputs.
This board converts analog signals to digital values and transmits them via the VME backplane to the VCMI board and controller. For output, it transforms digital signals into analog currents and delivers them to the customer circuit with high precision.
The IS200VAICH1D supports both simplex and triple modular redundancy (TMR) configurations. In TMR mode, input signals fan out to three VME racks (R, S, T), and output signals are generated using a proprietary circuit that ensures continuity even during hardware failure.

Installation & Configuration
Connect each terminal board to the VME rack using shielded cables. Use jumpers on the terminal board to select input type. Ensure proper mounting and shielding for signal integrity. The board supports long-distance wiring with reliable current output over extended cable runs.
In simplex mode, one IS200VAICH1D handles all input and output signals. In TMR setups, three boards work in parallel, with automatic fault isolation to maintain output accuracy.
Applications & Compatibility
The IS200VAICH1D is ideal for industrial automation, turbine control, and process monitoring systems. It integrates seamlessly with Mark VI architecture and supports both simplex and TMR redundancy.
Use this board in environments requiring precise analog signal processing, robust fault tolerance, and long-distance current transmission. It pairs with TBAIH1C or newer terminal boards and all STAI revisions.
