Signal Routing & Bypass Logic
The IS200ISBEH1ABB connects a full-duplex source such as BALA or ACL to the ISBus. It includes a bypass relay that switches transmit signals between P1A, P1B, and P2, depending on power and interlock status. When 24 Vdc is present and interlock is closed, the board routes signals through electrical-to-optical converters.
Power & Failover Behavior
If 24 Vdc is unavailable, the board interrupts transmit and receive paths between P1 and P2, and P3 and P1. It then reroutes optical input from P3 to P2, converting and optionally retiming the signal before retransmission.
Application & Compatibility
The IS200ISBEH1ABB supports GE Mark VI systems requiring robust ISBus communication and node bypass capabilities. It ensures reliable data flow across fiber-optic and electrical interfaces, even during power loss or interlock faults.
