The IS200EXHSG3AEC Exciter High Speed Relay Driver Board from GE’s EX2100 series delivers fast and reliable relay control for exciter systems. It connects via the Exciter Backplane Board to either simplex or redundant EMIO configurations, ensuring flexible deployment across control architectures.
This board includes pilot relays for flashing relays 53A, 53B, and the de-excitation relay KDEP. It processes de-excitation status signals from the EDEX board and crowbar signals from the EXDE board, forwarding them to the EMIO. Three contact inputs—41, 53A, and 53B—receive 70 V DC power and provide monitored feedback to the system.
The IS200EXHSG3AEC integrates tightly with the exciter power supply and maintains high-speed signal conditioning for critical relay operations.
