Product Overview
The IS200EXAMG1BAA from GE is an Exciter Attenuation Module designed for the EX2100 Series excitation control system. It works in tandem with the IS200EGDM ground detector module to form a complete ground detection solution.
This module mounts inside the High Voltage Interface (HVI) and senses high voltage from the bridge. It attenuates and scales the signal to a usable level for ground detection. The board connects to the IS200EPBP Exciter Power Backplane via a 9-pin cable and supports both simplex and TMR configurations.

Installation & Configuration
Mount the IS200EXAMG1BAA inside the auxiliary cabinet’s HVI module. Connect it to the IS200EPBP backplane using the designated 9-pin cable. The module receives feedback signals from the bridge and scales them for ground detection.
In some EX2100 versions, the board interfaces with EROC instead of IS200EGDM, offering equivalent functionality. The system’s computational tasks are handled by the DSPX control board.
