Signal Routing & Master Control
In redundant setups, three IS200EGDMH1ADE boards operate as Controller (C), Master 1 (M1), and Master 2 (M2). Configuration is managed via program pins on the P2 connector. The active master receives a 50 V square wave signal from DSPX through EISB, which is routed to the EXAM module and applied to the sense resistor.
Monitoring & Fault Detection
The module receives voltage signals from EXAM via a nine-conductor cable. It determines ground leakage by analyzing voltage across the sense resistor. Relay control and fiber-optic communication ensure accurate master selection and fault isolation.
