Ground Fault Detection & System Integration
The IS200EGDMH1AAB detects field leakage resistance between any point in the generator circuit and ground. It supports simplex setups with one module and redundant configurations with three modules labeled C, M1, and M2. The module receives voltage signals from the EXAM module via a nine-conductor cable.
Signal Routing & Master Coordination
In redundant systems, the active master is selected via program pins and fiber-optic communication. The chosen master sends a 50 V square wave signal to the EXAM module, which applies it to the ground sense resistor for fault detection. This coordination ensures accurate monitoring and system protection.
