    The IC695ECM850 is a high-performance Ethernet communication module for the PACSystems RX3i platform, enabling controllers to connect seamlessly to IEC 61850 electrical substation networks. Designed as an IEC 61850 client, it exchanges real-time data with protection relays, meters, and other intelligent electronic devices (IEDs).

    This module supports both copper and fiber media, providing four switched Ethernet ports—two RJ‑45 and two SFP cages—for flexible network topologies. Fully hot‑swappable, the IC695ECM850 allows maintenance or replacement without system downtime, making it ideal for mission-critical power automation applications. Configuration is supported via micro-USB or Proficy Machine Edition 8.0 SIM7, and it works with RX3i CPUs running firmware 8.05 or higher.
