    The IC695CMU310 by GE (Emerson Automation) is a Max‑ON hot-standby redundancy CPU designed for the PACSystems RX3i platform. It enables two RX3i systems to operate in a synchronized primary/backup configuration, delivering high-availability control for critical industrial processes. In the event of a primary CPU failure, the backup takes over within 2–3 CPU scans, preserving I/O states and maintaining continuous operation.
