Description
Product Description
The IC695CEP001 is a dedicated Communication Expansion Processor (CEP) carrier for the PACSystems RX3i platform, enabling a remote I/O node to connect directly to a PROFINET network. Functioning as a PROFINET Version 2.3 Class A IO‑Device, this module allows a single RX3i I/O module—or two when used with the IC694CEE001 expansion carrier—to operate as a full remote PROFINET station.
Equipped with dual 10/100Base‑TX Ethernet ports and a micro-USB interface for firmware updates, the IC695CEP001 manages I/O scanning, publishes and receives data to/from a PROFINET IO‑Controller, and provides comprehensive diagnostics. Its compact design supports flexible mounting and reliable operation in industrial environments.
