Description
Product Description
The IC694CEE001 is a Communication Expansion Processor (CEP) expansion carrier for the PACSystems RX3i platform. Designed to attach to the IC694CEP001 module, it provides one additional RX3i I/O slot, enabling a remote PROFINET I/O node to host a second I/O module. This allows distributed nodes to support higher I/O density while maintaining high availability and low-latency communication.
Equipped with an integrated 10/100 Mbps RJ‑45 Ethernet interface, the IC694CEE001 distributes 24 VDC / 700 mA to downstream I/O modules. The carrier supports PROFINET I/O communication, module scanning, fault reporting, and full diagnostics. Its compact DIN-rail-compatible design ensures flexible installation in control cabinets and distributed I/O clusters.
