    The IC693BEM340 is a high-performance FIP (Factory Instrumentation Protocol) Bus Controller designed for GE Fanuc Series 90‑30 PLC systems. It enables deterministic, high-speed communication between a Series 90‑30 PLC and FIP-compatible devices, including remote I/O racks, field control stations, and Series 90‑70 PLCs.

    This module installs directly into the PLC backplane and supports redundant FIP bus operation, ensuring reliable communication in mission-critical automation applications. Two 9‑pin FIP bus connectors provide dual-channel redundancy, while a 15‑pin RS‑485 serial port allows firmware updates and external configuration.
