Description
Overview
The IC200CMM020 is a VersaMax serial communication interface module developed by GE Fanuc Emerson, designed to extend system connectivity by enabling Modbus RTU master functionality within a VersaMax I/O station.
It allows a single VersaMax rack to communicate directly with external Modbus slave devices such as variable frequency drives, instrumentation panels, barcode scanners, and third-party controllers. Communication is routed through a Genius LAN structure, allowing integration with both Genius-based and PROFINET-capable NIU systems.
