Overview
The Emerson Ovation™ Power Supply System (5X00785G09) is a modular, fanless DIN-rail power solution designed to deliver reliable and stable power to Ovation controllers and I/O modules. The system features redundant configurations, with each power unit supplied by independent wide-range AC or DC inputs. Dual diode-auctioned outputs ensure uninterrupted power to controller chassis, I/O modules, and loops or contact wetting. Optional 48VDC auxiliary power is available for loops and contact wetting.

FAQ
Q: Does the system support hot-swapping?
A: Yes, the main and auxiliary power modules are hot-swappable, allowing replacement without downtime.
Q: Can AC and DC power inputs be used simultaneously?
A: Yes, the dual-input design supports both AC and DC sources for redundant power.
Q: What is the expected lifespan of the fanless power supply?
A: The 10A power scheme lasts up to 8 years, and the 20A scheme up to 15 years at 40°C with a 10A load.
Q: Is 48VDC auxiliary power available?
A: Yes, it can provide power for I/O loops or contact wetting as required.
