Description
Product Description
The Bently Nevada 3500/32M 4-Channel Relay Module is a full-height relay output module designed for use within the Bently Nevada 3500 Machinery Protection System. The module delivers four independently configurable relay outputs for machinery alarm annunciation, shutdown logic, and process protection functions.
Each relay channel supports programmable voting logic and can be configured using AND/OR alarm conditions through the 3500 Rack Configuration Software. The module can process alert, danger, Not-OK, and proportional value inputs from any monitor channel installed in the rack, allowing flexible integration into turbine, compressor, pump, and rotating equipment protection strategies.
The relay module is engineered with epoxy-sealed SPDT relays and integrated arc suppression to improve operational reliability in industrial environments with frequent switching operations.

FAQ
What is the function of the 3500/32M module?
The module provides programmable relay outputs used for alarms, shutdowns, annunciation, and machinery protection logic within a 3500 monitoring rack.
Can each relay channel be configured independently?
Yes. Each of the four relay outputs supports independent configuration and separate voting logic assignments.
What relay contact type is used?
The module uses SPDT epoxy-sealed relays with integrated arc suppression for industrial reliability.
Is the relay state configurable?
Yes. Relay channels can be configured as Normally Energized or Normally De-Energized through onboard switch settings.
