    The Bently Nevada 3500/22-01-01-01 164466-01 Transient Data Interface (TDI) functions as the central communications and data coordination module within the 3500 Machinery Protection System. It unifies rack-level configuration control with high-speed data exchange capabilities, acting as the primary bridge between monitoring hardware and System 1 diagnostic software.

    This module replaces the traditional rack interface architecture while extending functionality to include advanced transient data capture, enabling detailed analysis of machine behavior during start-up, shutdown, and operational disturbances. It does not participate in the protection trip path, ensuring monitoring continuity even during module maintenance or failure.
