Description
Overview
The 3500/15-01-01-00 is a low-voltage AC power supply module engineered for the Bently Nevada 3500 Machinery Protection platform. Working together with the 125840-02 Power Input Module (PIM), the unit converts incoming AC power into regulated internal DC outputs required for rack operation and module stability.
This power supply is mounted in the dedicated left-side section of the 3500 rack and supports both standalone and redundant operating configurations. In dual-supply systems, the modules function in automatic primary and backup mode to maintain uninterrupted rack power during maintenance or power module failure.
The matching 125840-02 PIM is mounted directly behind the supply on the rack backplane and manages AC input connection, transient suppression, and input fuse protection.

FAQ
What is the function of the 125840-02 PIM?
The 125840-02 Power Input Module provides AC input termination, surge suppression, and fuse protection for the connected power supply module.
Can the power supply be replaced while the rack is operating?
Yes. In redundant configurations, the module supports hot-swapping without interrupting rack operation.
How many power supplies can be installed in one rack?
The 3500 rack supports either a single power supply or a dual redundant configuration using two modules.
What output does the module provide to the rack?
The module converts incoming AC power into regulated DC voltages distributed across all installed rack modules.
