As part of the 3300 XL Proximity Transducer System, it provides stable linearity, excellent temperature performance, and long‑term reliability for critical rotating machinery.

    Design and Construction

    This probe generates a voltage proportional to the distance between the probe tip and a conductive target surface, enabling both static position and dynamic vibration measurements. It is widely used in fluid‑film bearing machines, Keyphasor® reference points, and speed measurement applications.

    The 330101‑00‑40‑10‑02‑05 supports full interchangeability of the probe, extension cable, and Proximitor® Sensor—no bench calibration or component matching is required. The XL Proximitor Sensor enhances linearity and temperature stability compared to earlier generations and includes an integral isolation base, eliminating the need for separate isolator plates.

    The probe incorporates Bently Nevada’s patented TipLoc™ bonding method for a reinforced probe tip and CableLoc™ technology providing 330 N (75 lbf) pull strength on the cable. A 3/8‑24 UNF threaded body, 1.0 m standard cable, and miniature ClickLoc coaxial connector ensure secure installation and reliable signal transmission.
