Description
Product Overview
The Woodward 5466-258 Discrete I/O Module is engineered for integration into MicroNet Digital Control systems. It connects directly to the motherboard via card guides and secures with dual front-panel screws. Two ergonomic handles allow safe disengagement from the chassis without damaging connectors.
This module supports real-time node replacement, minimizing system downtime. It mounts on a DIN rail and accepts discrete inputs powered by either internal or external 24 Vdc sources.
Installation Notes
Set the module address using rotary switches before mounting. Ensure network cables remain connected during node replacement. To replace a faulty node, remove terminal blocks and the module, match address settings on the new unit, and reinsert. Reset the node via the application program to resume communication.
