وصف
Description
The Woodward 5417-027 is a 10-foot Netcon Low Density Analog Cable engineered for high-fidelity signal transmission within industrial control networks. Designed specifically for the Netcon series control systems, this cable provides the critical physical link between analog I/O modules and field termination assemblies. It is utilized in demanding environments such as oil refineries, gas turbine power plants, and offshore mining platforms. By ensuring electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding and maintaining signal integrity over its 10-foot span, the 5417-027 plays a vital role in preventing signal drift and communication errors, thereby reducing unscheduled system downtime.
Features
- Optimized for precise analog voltage and current loops (4-20 mA or 0-5 VDC).
- High-grade industrial conductors with integrated shielding to protect against cross-talk and external noise.
- Secure locking connector mechanisms designed for stable contact in high-vibration turbine control environments.
- 10-foot length facilitates clean cable management within standard Netcon control racks.
Applications
This cable is intended for use in Woodward Netcon control systems, specifically for interfacing analog I/O modules with field termination points. It is suitable for mission-critical applications including gas turbine control, power generation management, and industrial process automation where signal integrity is paramount.
